Week #5 - Getting Tired...

A pretty successful week, still just two trips over to GoodLife, but I am getting used to the routine now. I would rather go to the gym not wanting to, than not go to the gym and regretting it later.

I am finding that I am getting tired at work and when I get home. I am pretty sure it’s because I am not eating enough. However I am eating when I am hungry so maybe I should look at higher calorie snacks? I'm not too sure.

I made a big step this week; I switched from whole wheat bread to multi grain bread. I have liked the change so far, it fills me up for most of the morning, plus I adopted a bowl of Vector cereal in the morning to go with my toast. The combo is very nice and doesn’t taste too bad either.

The road ahead looks dangerous though. With the holiday season fast approaching I am going to have to dig deep to avoid the temptation of bad foods. I can count four Christmas parties still to come, which means I have to choose smart, and don’t falter. The biggest obstacle will be my Grandmothers apple pie which is traditionally served at Christmas dinner. She rides your ass if you don’t have a piece so I will have to find a way around the pie. It’s good pie!

End of week #5, I came in at 172lbs, down 2lbs for the week, and a total of 12lbs from the start.
